Our Story
A Legacy of Global Exchange, Reimagined for Burundi.
Founded globally in 1948, IAESTE has connected over one million students to life-changing career opportunities. In Burundi, we continue this mission by empowering the next generation of innovators.
We establish practical partnerships with higher education institutions in Burundi to drive real international engagement. Through our global network, we connect students and universities to study opportunities, academic collaborations, and skill-building programs abroad. This approach strengthens institutional capacity, develops competitive graduates, and contributes directly to national development priorities aligned with global standards.

Mission
To build and execute strategic partnerships that enable Burundian universities and students to access international education, mobility programs, and collaborative opportunities, while transferring knowledge and skills that strengthen national development.
